Has Comic-Con Become too Hollywood?

This year the focus seemed to be on all the "celebrities" and whatever project they were promoting at Comic-Con. The convention seems to have lost some of it's laid back "nerdy" appeal and fun atmosphere. Hollywood seems to have taken over. Whereas in the past it use to be a healthy balance between the two sides.I think it's cool that Sci-Fi/Comic Book movies and TV shows are promoted there but
